This includes over 35 years of executive corporate experience back ground with major national New York construction management firms\, like Tishman (now part of AECOM) where he was the E.V.P./COO\, as well as bein g currently President of his own firm Jekmar Associates Inc.\, a construc tion/ development consulting firm to significant New York Developers and Owners. Jekmar Associates Inc. is currently involved in various residenti al\, mixed use and hotel projects of over 3 million square feet. As Proje ct Manager / Executive he has built over 15 million square feet of variou s high rise building types\, and had corporate oversight of millions more . He is a Member of the NYIFund which help raise and lends foreign invest ment funds to real estate developers for various projects currently being built in the New York area. Lou is the President / Founder of EMBCA\, In c. (East Mediterranean Business Culture Alliance)\; Executive Board Membe r of The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce \; President of the AHI (Amer ican Hellenic Institute) New York Chapter\; In AHEPA (Hellenic American E ducational Progressive Association) he is the Empire State District 6 Go vernor\, the largest Order of AHEPA district \, Chairman of the National AHEPA Hellenic Cultural Commission\; and Co- Chairman of the Greek Indepe ndence Parade down 5th Ave. for 2020.
