On Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 6:30 PM, the Rotary Club of New York, in partnership with Food Sospeso, will present a new community-driven initiative designed to connect restaurants, community organizations, and public partners in delivering prepaid meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity across New York City.

The Food Sospeso Initiative, developed with the support of the Rotary Club of New York, creates a simple yet powerful model: community members donate prepaid meals through participating restaurants, and trusted community organizations coordinate the delivery of meals to those in need. This transparent, partnership-based approach strengthens local businesses while directly supporting vulnerable populations.

This special evening will bring together:

• Community organizations serving individuals and families in need

• Government representatives and public service leaders
