Columbia Univ. Annual High School Scholarship
Columbia - HS Scholar
NYRC annually runs an essay contest whose winner receives a prize/scholarship worth $4,500 which will enable the winner to take college courses at Columbia University's High School Summer Program.
Participating in the program will not only show opportunities that exist for the students, but will also be a plus for later college applications.
Julia Benedith, a junior at DeWitt Clinton High School outran nine other students from our partner high schools in the essay contest for 2009.
