Professor Dr. Tobias Thomas from RC of Vienna with President Shawn Jacobaccio
On March 6, 2025 we enjoyed a delightful luncheon at NYC Consulate Restaurant. The presenter was Prof. Tobias Thomas who presented various statistics on the European economy comparing its growth or lack thereof to the United States, China, etc. He delivered a powerful insight on the past 25 years showing that the US have 8 of the 10 biggest companies in the world and that the first ranked European company is on the 20th place. He expressed his hope that the long-lasting good relations between the EU and the US with continue.
We had the tremendous pleasure of inducting three new great members, Lucia Casas, Flaviu Simihaian (both previous Rotarians) and Hanafi Hadjeres. We warmly welcome then to our club!
