A Strong Start to a Great Rotary Year

Fellow Rotarians and Friends,

As we begin this new Rotary year, I am proud to see our Club already in full stride—living out our mission to serve locally, nationally, and globally with energy, creativity, and compassion.

Our Peace Committee, under the inspired leadership of Barbara Winston, is advancing the Peace Innovation Initiative, a collaboration that will expand our support for Rotary International’s transformative Peace Fellows program. This work not only trains future leaders in conflict resolution but also activates a global network of change-makers who are working tirelessly to build a more peaceful world.

Our Food Sospeso Committee, led by Alexander Litvinov, is pushing the boundaries of service through the intersection of technology and humanitarian action. His project is delivering innovative solutions to alleviate food insecurity for some of the most vulnerable New Yorkers, ensuring that no neighbor is left behind.

Our International Division, chaired by Levent Ozkurt, is already mobilizing impactful global health work. Together, Levent and the President of Ecuador's administration are partnering on a medical project that will provide essential care to underserved communities. In addition, Levent continues his heartfelt commitment to supporting children and their families, addressing critical care needs that change—and save—lives.

With such dedication, expertise, and heart driving our committees, I have no doubt this will be a year marked by meaningful impact and shared achievement. Thank you for bringing your talents, your time, and your passion to our work.
