Last Friday’s New Year Celebration was truly unforgettable. The room was filled with warmth, friendship, and the unmistakable energy that makes the Rotary Club of New York so special. With more than 50 guests, the induction of six outstanding new members, and the celebration of Joachim Bartel’s extraordinary 45 years of service to Rotary, the evening was a powerful reflection of our club’s strength, diversity, and shared commitment to Service Above Self.
The enthusiasm and camaraderie we experienced that night were contagious. It was a clear reminder that our club is not only growing, but thriving — fueled by passion, purpose, and an unwavering spirit of service. Moments like these inspire us to dream bigger and aim higher together.
As we step into the new year, we do so with tremendous momentum and excitement. Our upcoming initiatives — including the Consul Speaker Series — will further elevate our international identity, bring remarkable voices to our club, and open new doors for cultural, social, and professional connections. There is so much to look forward to, and we truly hope each of you will be an active part of this exciting journey.
