"The Rotary Club of Atlanta hosted an exceptional luncheon meeting on January 12, 2026, featuring a distinguished program and remarkable attendance. Founded in 1913 and today representing more than 500 members, the Club continues its legacy of strong engagement, with 250+ Rotarians and guests attending this week’s meeting—well above its already robust average weekly attendance of approximately 200 members.
Program & Speaker:
The meeting featured Jeff Sprecher, Founder, Chair & CEO of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), in a moderated conversation examining the rapidly evolving intersection of technology and global finance. Sprecher’s insights highlighted the transformative role of innovation in market infrastructure, financial transparency, and emerging trends in digital assets and exchange technologies.
The conversation was moderated by Rotary Club of Atlanta member Raphael Bostic, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, who guided the discussion through themes including regulatory adaptation, economic stability, market modernization, and the future of digital exchange platforms.
Rotary Fellowship, Exchange & Hospitality:
The Atlanta Rotary’s hallmark professionalism, fellowship, and hospitality were prominently on display. Members extended a warm welcome to visiting Rotarians, including the Past President of the Rotary Club of New York, who participated in a banner exchange with Club President Kathy Waller—symbolizing continued friendship between two historically significant Rotary clubs with national influence."
