Founder-the Malaika Foundation-Nebraska
With a determination to “give back” to her home state
of Nebraska, Natalie founded the Malaika Foundation,
with a mission in providing global education resources to
Nebraska schools and universities and global fellowships.
The presentation will focus on the success in adding a global
dimension to schools, from K-12, community colleges and Nebraska
Universities—strategies, resources and partners. Also, the success in
donating over 300 pieces of African Art throughout the state.
Natalie served with United Nations programs for 38 years, FAO and IFAD in
Rome, UNICEF Representative to Malawi, UNICEF and UN-NYC and the
International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Nigeria.
She is a former member and chair of the international committee—Rotary
Club of New York #6 and now a member of Rotary #14-Lincoln, Nebraska
